Give kids a disposable camera

A blast from the past, most camera shops / photo printing shops still sell the disposable kind (or you can always find them online), and they are surprisingly inexpensive. Every now and then we let the kids play around with a disposable camera, and then we take the roll of camera film to be developed. It’s always a surprise to see what they’ve taken pictures of! We ‘unbox’ the photos together and it’s become a lovely tradition.

Half of the pictures will inevitably be of their feet or their fingers blocking the lens, but there’s always at least a handful of good ones in there, plus the photos come out with a sweet, nostalgic feel to them.
